My bags are packed, I’m ready to go..

It’s been almost a year since running into the nurses and staff from Mercy Ships at the expo at NTI (National Teaching Institute) for Critical Care Nurses in Denver, Colorado, May of 2024. I was surprised to see them and quickly shared “I have wanted for years to serve on Mercy Ships”. They said, “now is a great time”. When I returned home I applied. This Friday, May 30th, I leave for Madagascar to meet the ship in Toamasina.

I have appreciated the support of many friends, my family, and my co-workers, and hope to share this journey with you through this blog.
